The effectiveness of the session is determined by the rate at which pedals are pushed, and with how much resistance, from a seated position or rising from the saddle.

Participants are coached to get the most from the workout. Regular workout clothes and shoes are fine, although cycle shoes are recommended. SPINNING® also referred to as SPIN® Class is a fun way to get in shape, and allows FITNESS SF members to train in the off-season without having to wear a helmet or watch out for cars!
