Customer Service/Front Desk Representative

Objective: The Customer Service Representative is to give fantastic customer service by enthusiastically greeting and checking in members/guests, selling retail and misc. services, collecting needed member information, handling appointments, answering telephone inquiries for membership and sales related questions. Customer Service Manager

Location(s): Marin, Oakland, SF Castro, SF Embarcadero, SF Fillmore, SF Mid Market, SF SOMA

Objective: The basic function of a Customer Service Manager (CSM) is to sell memberships, personal training, Pro Shop merchandise, and other FITNESS SF services. Successfully coordinate the Front Desk Department by creating and developing a Front Desk Staff, developing teamwork amongst the staff, and increasing the staff’s productivity through positive motivation and leadership. Manage all aspects of the Front Desk in the absence of a Front Desk Employee. If needed, provide Front Desk relief when employee is on break. This position is salaried, commissioned, and eligible for bonuses as outlined in the Membership Commission and Bonus Structure Addendum. The position requires excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills; to successfully pass all testing requirements in the sales training program; the thorough understanding of the FITNESS SF Membership Agreement and sales systems; basic computer skills.
