Are you staying hydrated?! The first month of 2018 is in full swing, which means many of you are visiting us at the gym more; sweating & working hard 😓💪🏻🏋️‍♀️ Make sure to drink fluids throughout the day and more on the days you exercise💧🍵 The Dietary Reference Intake (DRI) has a general recommendation for adults (19 yrs old +) of 2.7 L for women and 3.7 L for men. Remember, your specific needs will vary based on age, weight, health and activity level. Pictured are some fluid options (other than plain water)- herbal tea🍵, sparkling water with lime, water with lemon 🍋 & cucumber🥒 and coffee ☕️ (it counts, but it doesn’t mean to ONLY drink coffee 😂).
